You send your Rhino view and describe the diagram: xFigura draws it without touching the geometry. By changing a single sentence, the same massing gives a whole consistent series for the competition board.
What you need
- Rhino 8 and the xFigura plugin, installed from Rhino's
PackageManager. - An xFigura account: each generated image uses credits.
- A clean massing: an axonometric view, in Shaded mode, with no unnecessary detail.
The steps
- Install xFigura: in Rhino, Tools › Package Manager, search for "xFigura", install it and restart Rhino. Then open the xFigura panel, sign in and pick your board.
- Send the massing: in xFigura's Rhino panel, set the capture to 2×, then Capture Viewport. The image lands on your board.
- Describe the diagram: double-click the canvas, add an Image node, link it to the capture, write the prompt, then Generate. Keep the best of the 4 proposals.
- Build the series: duplicate the node (Ctrl+D) and change only the type of diagram. Same input image, same style sentence: the series stays consistent.
- Finish: edit one thing at a time, then Upscale and Download for the board.
The prompts
Uses:
Preserve the original geometry exactly. Competition axonometric diagram: white background, fine lines, each floor coloured by use (retail ochre, offices apricot, housing light blue, green roof). Simple legend.
Exploded:
Preserve the original geometry exactly. Same style. Exploded by floor: pull the levels apart, dashed vertical guides.
Access:
Preserve the original geometry exactly. Same style, white volumes. Access: blue arrows for pedestrians, ochre for deliveries.
Targeted edit:
Edit only the housing: light grey. Everything else unchanged.
Always start with "Preserve the original geometry exactly": the AI won't redraw your project. Change one variable at a time: if a result goes wrong, you know why. And check every image: the AI may add a floor or a window.
